YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Senior Logan Burton (Chesapeake, Va.-Hickory) of the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team was named Mid-American Conference Co-Swimmer of the Week, for his blazing performance against Ball State University, Jan. 13, the league office announced Thursday, Jan. 18. This is the third time this season Burton has earned the weekly honor.
Helping to secure Eastern's 24th consecutive dual win over the Cardinals, Burton locked up 27 points for EMU with three individual event wins. The Chesapeake, Va. product started the meet strong with a first-place finish in the 1000 freestyle.
