YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball program and Head Coach Stan Heath have added yet another impressive transfer to the team's 2022-23 roster, this time inking forward Legend Geeter (River Rouge, Mich.-River Rouge (Providence)), the team announced today, May 6.
A 6-foot-8 forward, Geeter returns to the Mitten State after beginning his collegiate career at Providence College, where he played for one season under Head Coach Ed Cooley. He did not see game action in 2021-22.
A 2021 candidate for the highly-coveted Mr. Basketball honor in the State of Michigan, awarded to the state's best high school player, Geeter attended River Rouge High School and played under Head Coach Lamonta Stone.
