TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Fighting against the rain and wind, the Eastern Michigan University softball team dropped a 5-2 decision against Mid-American Conference West Division foe, University of Toledo, Tuesday, April 3, at Scott Park Softball Complex.
At the dish, Eastern (4-26, 0-7 MAC) struggled to connect with their bats as they mustered just two hits on the day. Junior Amanda Akles (La Habra, Calif.-La Habra) and freshman Sophia Holland (Lugoff, S.C.-Lugoff-Elgin) each produced a hit, while Holland notched her fourth RBI of the campaign.
