YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University lacrosse program returns to action at home on Scicluna Field Saturday, April 22, when the Eagles play host to the Zips of the University of Akron starting at noon. The game will serve as the team's 'Play for Patrick' game in conjunction with the Patrick Schoonover Foundation, as well as Special Olympics Day at Scicluna Field.
Saturday's contest will see one team earn its first conference victory of the season as the Eagles (1-12, 0-5 MAC) are coming off a tough, 19-7, road setback at Robert Morris University, April 19, and the Zips (1-14, 0-6 MAC) falling to Kent State University, 19-6, the same day.
