Lacrosse Named An IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for 2023-24

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University lacrosse team earned a place on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squads list for the 2023-24 academic year, the Association announced today, July 24. The selection marked the second consecutive year Eastern has made the list.

To earn placement on the list, a team must sport a 3.20 or higher cumulative team grade-point average for the academic year with the Eagles carrying a 3.738 GPA, one of the highest among all EMU teams. Eastern is one of 325 women's lacrosse programs nationally across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA to earn the honor this year.
