YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — After leading the Eastern Michigan University softball team to a 2-2 record in its final week of play, senior Michelle Kriegshauser (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln Way Central) has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, May 9. The conference's announcement marks the second time this season and fourth time in her career she has earned the honor. Kriegshauser is the first Eagle to claim the conference's weekly accolade twice in the same season since Amanda Stanton did so in 2013.
