CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly football honors Monday, Sept. 9, with Eastern Michigan University kicker Jesús Gómez (Puebla, Mexico/Prepa Tec Puebla) earning a share of the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week accolade. Gómez was sensational for the Eagles in their game at the No. 25 University of Washington Huskies, Sept. 7, as he was a perfect 3-of-3 in field goal attempts, including makes of 57 yards, 50 yards, and 29 yards.
