BOSTON (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men's basketball player James Thompson IV (Baton Rouge, La.-Parkview Baptist) was named to the 2017-18 Lou Henson All-American Team as announced by CollegeInsider.com, Wednesday, March 29.
Thompson is now eligible for the Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award which is presented annually to the nation's top Division I mid-major player and will be announced April 2 in San Antonio, home of the men's NCAA Basketball Championship.
The Baton Rouge, La. native turned in one of the best individual seasons a junior has ever produced for EMU, averaging a double-double of 14.
