YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men's basketball senior guard Jalen Terry has been named an Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week, the United States Basketball Writers Association announced Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Terry (Flint, Mich./Beecher/Oregon/DePaul) put together an outstanding week for the Eagles, averaging 31.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals over the two games last week.
Against Toledo, Feb. 15, Terry scored a career-high 38 points to go with eight rebounds and two assists. Terry remarkably converted his first 12 field goal attempts of the game, finishing an incredible 15-of-17 from the field, which included a 6-of-7 mark from three-point range.
