YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Head Men's Basketball Coach Rob Murphy announced the hiring of LaKita Gantz as the Eagles' new Director of Men's Basketball Operations Monday, Aug. 15. Gantz joins the EMU men's hoops squad after most recently serving as an English teacher at Detroit Mumford High School and the head coach of the Oakland Community College (OCC) women's basketball program.
"We are excited to add LaKita to our Eagle family," remarked Murphy. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a great work ethic that will be beneficial to both our staff and student-athletes.
