CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team's No. 1 doubles pairing was named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, announced the league office Wednesday, April 21. This is the fifth time an Eagles duo has been tabbed for the honor, and the third time that redshirt junior Vasavi Ganesan (Tamil Nadu, India-Alagappa Matriculation School (Eastern Florida State)) and redshirt freshman Isabelle Popma (Staphorst, Netherlands-Center for Sports and Education) have been the recipients.
Ganesan and Popma went 2-0 this weekend against Ball State and Grace College, April 16.
