YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University has a long-standing traditional of athletic excellence. From a national championship in baseball at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) level 50 years ago this season (1970), to hordes of Olympians, and multiple postseason basketball appearances. Throw in 150 team Mid-American Conference championships and it is easy to see why EMU had garnered so much respect around the country.
Beginning today, Tuesday, March 24, the EMU Athletic Media Relations office is reaching into "the vault," and pulling out some of the most memorable moments in EMU athletics history.
