YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team began its quest for a Mid-American Conference Championship Tuesday, Aug. 1, as the players report to training camp. The team's first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m.
With the elimination of two-a-days in preseason practice and the lengthening of camp, EMU can don full pads for the first time on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
Eastern will practice 20 times before it officially enters game week preparation for the season-opener at home Friday, Sept. 1, against Howard University.
Practices are closed to the public.
