OTTAWA, Ontario (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University football defensive back Vincent Calhoun has signed with the Canadian Football League's Ottawa REDBLACKS, the team announced yesterday, April 19. Calhoun, a 2019 graduate of EMU, was one of two American defensive backs that the team added in order to bolster its secondary for the upcoming season.
A fixture in the Eastern Michigan defensive scheme during his four-year stint with the Eagles between 2016-19, Calhoun is the program's all-time leader with 49 games started. The Middletown, Ohio native is third all-time with 196 career solo tackles, and is ninth in the EMU record book with 347 total tackles.
