Five Eagles Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – Five members of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the organization announced today, July 8. EMU's five selections ranked tied for second-most in the Mid-American Conference, while the Green and White were one-of-eight Mid-American Conference schools to have multiple student-athletes recognized.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative grade point average is 3.50. EMU's five selections come from a list of 1,097 student-athletes from all levels of NCAA competition.
