CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University gymnasts Alana Fisher and Keeley Kohler were named Mid-American Conference Gymnasts to Watch as the Eagles were selected to finish fifth in the MAC Preseason Poll, the conference announced Friday, Jan. 3.
Fisher (Athens, Ala./Alabama Connections Academy) qualified for the 2024 NCAA Regionals in vault while Kohler (Davison, Mich./Powers Catholic), one of three freshmen on the list, will look to make an impact for the Eagles in her first collegiate season.
Ball State was selected to be the regular season champions behind four first-place votes while Kent State (second in poll, one first-place vote) and Central Michigan (third in poll, two first-place votes) also received votes to win the MAC.
