KETTERING, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team competed in cold and blustery conditions on the opening day of the Dayton Flyer Invitational on the par 71, 7,004-yard NCR Country Club setup. Teams were scheduled to play 36 holes, but round two was cut short due to darkness.
The Eagles shot a 22-over par 306 in round one, but were climbing the rankings in round two. Eastern's team total of 35-over par is currently ninth. Most players have about three holes left to complete in the second round when play resumes tomorrow at 11 a.
