CLEVELAND, Ohio. (EMUEagles.com) - For the fifth time in his career, redshirt senior Willy Fink (Maumee, Ohio - Maumee) of the Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team was named the Mid-American Conference Scholar Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday, March 1.
The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented weekly to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during the week's competition.
Fink, who maintains a 3.79 grade point average in chemistry, had a very strong two days of competition at the Indoor MAC Championships this past weekend, Feb.
