FULLERTON, Calif. (EMUEagles.com) – A season-high five errors led to Eastern Michigan University's softball team's demise Saturday, March 11, as the Eagles (8-9) fell, 10-0, in five innings to San Diego State University on the final day of the Louisville Slugger Invitational.
Eastern's offense tallied five hits, with junior Haley Hostetler (New Haven, Ind.-Woodlan) going 2-for-2 at the plate. Hostetler was the lone Eagle to pick up multiple hits, while senior Taylor Wagner (Marshalltown, Iowa-Marshalltown), senior Michelle Kriegshauser (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln Way Central), and sophomore Olivia Logan (Riverview, Mich.
