RICHMOND, Va. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team's First Varsity Eight boat collected the Colonial Athletic Association's Boat of the Week honors, the conference office announced Wednesday, April 28. The award marks the Eagles' first weekly honor this season, and the first since the 1V8+ squad finished first at the MACRA Championships, April 30, 2019.
"The V1 raced really well this weekend, but we still have a lot of work to do looking to CAA's," Head Coach Kemp Savage said. "But it is really great to see the work each day paying off on speed.
