JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) - Senior captain Jessica Harris (Slidell, La.-Slidell) and juniors Brittni Mason (Richmond Heights, Ohio-West Geauga), Micah Johnston (Toledo, Ohio-Toledo Christian), and Kolby Ganther (Park City, Kan.-Northeast Magnet) of the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field broke the EMU 4x100-meter relay record Saturday, May 25 at the NCAA East Regional Championships hosted by the University of North Florida.
The quartet ran to a time of 44.65, more than .39 seconds faster than the squad's previous season-best effort and topped the then-EMU program record of 44.
