AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – After a nine-day break from competition, the Eastern Michigan University football team will return to the field for a midweek, Mid-American Conference (commonly dubbed "#MACtion") matchup at the University of Akron Tuesday, Nov. 8. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. inside Akron's InfoCision Stadium.
EMU (5-4, 2-3 MAC) hopes to get back on track after a heartbreaking, 27-24 defeat at the hands of Toledo, Oct. 29. EMU held a four-point edge with just minutes on the clock before the Rockets punched in the game-winning score. Meanwhile, Akron (1-8, 0-5 MAC) is in search of its first conference victory.
