CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team landed four student-athletes on the Mid-American Conference's Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced today, June 8.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Leading the league, Toledo and Western Michigan both saw eight selected to this year's team. Buffalo followed just behind with seven honorees, while Bowling Green State, Eastern Michigan, and Northern Illinois each had four.
