YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team split a tough Sunday double header against the University at Buffalo and Wayne State University, falling to the Bulls in a tight 4-3 match at the Chippewa Racquet Club, while prevailing over the Warriors 4-1 at the University of Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center.
"This was a really long day of tennis for our team and we really gave a lot of effort in both matches," said head coach Jayson Wiseman. "Buffalo is a fantastic team with a lot of talented players, but I feel like we did a great job of pushing them at pretty much every position and we were within a few points here and there of being able to take the match out right.
