YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team returns to play this weekend with two Mid-American Conference matches and a non-conference bout. EMU plays host to conference foe Ball State University at the Chippewa Racquet Club, Friday, March 30 at 1 p.m. and follows it up with a non-conference bout against Saginaw Valley State University at the University of Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center at 5:30 p.m. The Eagles then hit the road to take on Western Michigan University Sunday, April 1, at 1 p.m.
After opening up MAC play with a win over Akron, the Eagles (12-4) saw their nine-match winning streak snap at the hands of Buffalo in a hard-fought 4-3 loss.
