YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Steve Schram has resigned his position as head coach of Eastern Michigan University tennis, EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee announced today, July 19. A national search for the 11th head coach in program history will begin immediately.
"We wish Steve well on his new opportunity," Wetherbee expressed. "Now, our focus shifts towards discovering a new leader who will propel us towards our ultimate objective of returning the Mid-American Conference title to Ypsilanti."
Schram took the reigns of the tennis program July 18, 2022, and guided the Eagles to a 6-9 record in 2023 with a 3-7 mark in Mid-American Conference play.
