YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University student-athletes set a school record with a 3.438 cumulative GPA following the Fall 2024 semester. It was also the 30th consecutive semester of earning higher than a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average.
With 500 student-athletes, Eastern recorded a 3.397 fall semester GPA. The department's term GPA is the third-best since records began being tracked in the fall of 1999 with the figure slightly trailing the Fall 2023 mark of 3.404. Furthermore, EMU notched the department's all-time best cumulative GPA at 3.438, 0.007 ahead of the previous best of 3.431 in Winter 2024.
