YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University student-athletes had another outstanding semester in the classroom last fall, finishing with the second-highest term GPA in school history at a 3.232. Overall, it was the 18th semester in a row EMU student-athletes have earned over a 3.0 GPA, the EMU Student-Athlete Support Services office announced today, Jan. 17.
Additionally, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes was the department's second-best tally at 3.260.
"I'm incredibly proud of the academic performance of our student-athletes," said Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee. "This success is a reflection of highly committed and hard-working student-athletes and our department's dedication to academic excellence.
