TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's cross country team battled through exceedingly humid conditions at the John McNichols Invitational Saturday, Sept. 21 to claim sixth place with a team total of 196 points.
"Coach and athletes learned some positive things today that we can build on," said head coach John Goodridge following the meet.
Amid thick grass and dry footing at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, sophomore Baldvin Magnusson (Hull, England-Hull University) finished the 8K event in 25th place with a time of 25:00.
