The EMUs men's swim and dive team ended their dual competition with a victory against Miami University on Sat. Feb. 4, at Jones Natatorium. Emu won 10 out of the 16 events, ending with a 188.5 to 110.5 victory.
Miami started out in the lead beginning with the 200 Medley Relay. The Eagles then caught up with the Redhawks in the 1000 freestyle. Senior Kyle Lichtenberg paced Eastern's sweep of the top-five slots in the race. Lichtenberg cane in at 9:25.64, while freshman Eric Akins posted his career-best at 9:41.92 for second place. Senior Marcin Rzyski ,freshman Tanner Olmos, and freshman Benjamin Ryan took the remaining top-l five positions.
