CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team's game against the University of Louisiana, set for Saturday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. CT (7 p.m. ET) in Lafayette, La. will be aired nationally on the NFL Network, the Mid-American Conference and Sun Belt Conference offices announced today, Aug. 19. The opportunity comes through a sublicense agreement between ESPN and the NFL Network.
The 2022 game marks a return to the bayou for Eastern to battle the Ragin' Cajuns, as the team's last met in Lafayette, La. during the 2006 campaign. A rubber match of sorts, the two programs enter this year's matchup with an even 1-1 ledger against each other.
