EMU In Third-Place After 36 Holes of Desert Mountain Intercollegiate

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (EMUEagles.com) -- Using its second lowest round of the year, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team sits in third-place after the opening-day of the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate, March 9. EMU carded a first round 283 before following it up with a 291 for a 36-hole tally of 574.

Mississippi State holds down the top-spot with a 559 (280-279) followed by No. 44 Northwestern (570), EMU, No. 38 Kansas (575), and No. 41 Marquette (582).
