BLUFFTON, S.C. (EMUEagles.com) – Sophomore men's golfer Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) shot a 146 (74-72) to lead Eastern Michigan University in 10th after the first two rounds of the Colleton River Collegiate Monday, March 4, at the Colleton River Pete Dye Course.
Collins led the Eagles with 10 birdies on the day and rolled in six on his way to shooting a 74 in the first round. The sophomore shot an even-par 72 in the final round with identical sides of 36. He is tied for 24th with four others at two-over, 10 shots off the leader, Donnie Trosper, of tournament host Michigan State.
