YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — A normal afternoon practice turned into a day to remember for sophomore defensive back Freddie McGee III (Canton, Mich.-Salem) Tuesday, Sept. 4. This season, McGee earned time on defensive as well as special teams in Eastern Michigan's 57-17 season-opening victory over Monmouth Friday night, Aug. 31, inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium. Used primarily on special teams in 2017, McGee played in five games for the Green and White as a freshman.
The Eagles head on the road for three straight games, starting with a Big Ten Conference matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Ind.
