NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Firing the fourth-lowest round in program history at 291, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team surged five spots in the final round to finish tied with Ball State University for fourth at the 2019 Mid-American Conference Championship with a three-day cumulative score of 923 (324-308-291). Kent State University captured the tournament title, finishing at seven-under par 857 (305-278-274) on the par-72, 6,025 yard Purgatory Golf Club course.
Overall it was a very successful weekend for the Eagles, as EMU's final round score is tied for fourth all-time in EMU laurels.
