YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics will be hosting the first-ever 'Crash the Convo' pep rally, the event is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Convocation Center. With basketball season just around the corner, the pep rally is designed to encourage school spirit leading into the men's and women's 2016-17 campaign. In addition to the exciting Crash the Convo events, EMU will be hosting an intramural basketball tournament on the main Convo floor.
"I'm excited fan interest and support has grown for both basketball programs," stated Sixth-Year Head Men's Basketball Coach Rob Murphy.
