PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team concluded its spring break trip to the Sunshine State with a single game against Northeastern University today, March 1, at North Charlotte Regional Park. Despite scoring the game's first run and taking an early 1-0 lead, the Eagles ultimately fell, 17-7.
Despite the tough loss, EMU (1-10) saw positive offensive production from junior Nate Jones (Battle Creek, Mich.-Lakeview), who led the team with three hits, and tied for a team-best two RBIs.
