CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan-Akron football game, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12, will kickoff at 8 p.m., the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Oct. 31. The game will be shown nationally on ESPNU. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game from InfoCision Stadium.
The Zips hold a 19-13 advantage over the Eagles all-time. They last met in 2018 where EMU prevailed, 27-7, in Ypsilanti, Nov. 10. In that game, Eastern's defense led the charge once again, limiting the Zips to just 90 yards of total offense while forcing 10 three-and-outs.
EMU's last victory in the city of Akron came in 1995 when the Green and White triumphed 49-29, at the Rubber Bowl, Sept.
