KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, as the Eagles rolled to a 93-67 victory over Western Michigan University Saturday, Jan. 26 in University Arena.
Eastern (9-11, 3-4 MAC) was able to build its lead thanks to a high-powered first half that saw the Green and White score 49 points and shoot 52.6 percent from the floor. Western (6-14, 0-7 MAC) cut its early deficit to just one at the 8:43 mark, but EMU built its lead to 12 at the break and never looked back.
