OXFORD, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team qualified 14 swimmers for Friday evening's champion session after a solid performance in the preliminary session, March 2. Nine of EMU's 14 qualifiers will compete in the championships heats, as the Eagles look to improve upon their second-place standing.
In the 400 individual medley, sophomore Parker Saladin (Buchanan, Mich.-Buchanan) paced the Green and White with a career-best time of 3:54.67, which ranked sixth in the prelims and moved him into the championship heat. Additionally, Saladin's impressive mark is the seventh-best time in program history.
