Eastern Michigan Hosting World University Championships USRowing Training Camp

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The creation of the state-of-the-art Eastern Michigan University Rowing Course at Ford Lake is set to bring near-immediate dividends as USRowing has selected Eastern as the host of World University Championships USRowing Training Camp. Eagles Head Coach Kemp Savage will be coaching the women's team, which includes EMU student-athlete Lily Wilhelm.

After training on Ford Lake from June 5-30, American student-athletes will head to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to compete July 3-6 against student-athletes from around the globe in the World University Championships at Willem-Alexander Baan, which opened in 2012 and hosted the 2016 World Championships.
