CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team continues its fall racing slate at the prestigious Head of the Charles regatta Saturday, Oct. 19.
Since its origin in 1965, the Head Of The Charles regatta has welcomed the world's best teams to the banks of the Charles River for the ultimate two-day rowing competition. The regatta sees over 11,000 athletes participate in the event each year, and is hosted by the Cambridge Boat Club.
This will be the third consecutive season the Eagles have competed at the Head of the Charles. In each of the two seasons prior, the Green and White have finished 17th at the event, with times of 17:50.
