CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team concluded the fall portion of its schedule with an impressive showing at the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, Tenn., Nov. 2.
Due to an early fog delay, the Championship 4+ race, scheduled for 5:03 p.m., was canceled.
"This is by far the best Head of the Hooch we've ever had," began head coach Kemp Savage. "The novice had an incredibly good showing with a first in the four and a second in the eight. The varsity boats rowed well but had a couple tactical errors that cost them a higher finish.
