YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics will remain active as it meets the extraordinary standards for risk mitigation set forward by State of Michigan. Wednesday's football game against the University of Toledo is still set to take place at Rynearson Stadium at 7 p.m.
Due to the new Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) orders, EMU will not be able to host any fans for at least the next two home games, this includes players and coaches guests, band, cheer, or dance team members.
"Working in conjunction with our medical and health leadership groups we will continue to follow all protocols set forth by EMU, local and state officials and the MAC office to meet the extraordinary standards for risk mitigation during this pandemic," said EMU Vice President/Director of Athletic Scott Wetherbee.
