YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – It was another impressive semester in the classroom for the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. For the 23rd straight semester, EMU student-athletes posted an average term Grade Point Average (GPA) above 3.0.
With more than 400 student-athletes, Eastern recorded a 3.195 winter semester GPA. EMU also added a cumulative 3.369 GPA.
"Our student-athletes continued to excel academically in the face of unprecedented circumstances," said EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee. "They utilized their resources, remained diligent in their studies, and collaborated with their faculty members.
