Eagles sweep CMU in season series

Coming off the loss to State University at Buffalo, the Eastern Michigan men’s basketball team regained momentum by completing the season sweep of Central Michigan, 71-56, Tuesday night in Ypsilanti.

EMU forward Brandon Nazione and center James Thompson had double-doubles for the Eagles in their second straight game. Thompson would lead the Eagles with 19 points

“I thought tonight we showed consistency on both ends of the floor for 40 minutes," EMU coach Rob Murphy said. “We were in tune each and every possession.”

The Eagles again got off to a hot start, going on a 13-2 run to start the game.
