KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team has a short travel weekend as it heads to Western Michigan University Friday, April 23, before returning home and welcoming Miami University to the Chippewa Club Sunday, April 25. The matches are scheduled to start at 1 and 2 p.m., respectively.
Eastern (10-13; 1-9 MAC) lost two close matches to conference foes last weekend, falling first at Ball State, 3-4, April 16. Two days later, EMU lost again, 3-4, this time to Northern Illinois, April 18. Both the Cardinals and Huskies bested the Eagles, 1-6, in the first meetings of the season, back on March 12 and 14, respectively.
