COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving team built upon Friday's success on the second day of the Ohio State Winter Invitational, seeing five Eagles improve their times in both the preliminaries and finals at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, Feb. 15.
Starting in the 100 yard butterfly, sophomore Anna Stephan (San Diego, Calif.-Scripps Ranch) and freshman Kayla Whitehead (Ottawa, Ontario-Colonel By Secondary) made continuous improvements to their marks in the preliminary and final rounds. Stephan posted a 58.56 mark in the prelims, and followed up with a season-best 58.
