Eagles' Hot Shooting Pushes EMU Passed Boston, 80-62

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan men's basketball team secured an 80-62 win over Boston University after a LATE second-half run inside the Convocation Center, Saturday, Nov. 17.

Eastern was red hot from the field, finishing the game with a 52.5-percent clip. Additionally, the Eagles' 91.7 percent from the charity stripe serves as the second-best free throw percentage recorded by EMU inside the Convocation Center.

The Eagles' offense was led by redshirt senior Elijah Minnie (Pittsburgh, Pa.-Lincoln Park (Robert Morris)), who finished with 28 points on the night off of 10-for-17 shooting from the field, which included five-for-nine from beyond the arc.
