YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team cruised past the University of Toledo in straight sets inside the Convocation Center Friday night, Nov. 2. The Eagles (15-12, 7-6 MAC) led early and never looked back, grounding the Rockets (9-15 (4-9 MAC) 25-17, 25-22, and 25-18.
Eastern overpowered Toledo in nearly every statistical category, including a stout .310 hitting percentage to UT's .135. EMU also finished with more kills (47 to 29), digs (53 to 49), and service aces (6 to 3).
